Bob’s Ranch vineyard is characterized by it’s proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Coastal breezes along with low rolling hills and morning fog define this cool climate site. Comprised of 43 vineyard blocks on 72 acres, and planted to an array of clones and field selections this ranch produces complex and delicious wines of true Sonoma Coast character. This wine hails from our best vineyard blocks at Bob’s Ranch each year.

Deep aromas of ripe blackberry, shaved dark chocolate, and wet stone characterize the serious profile of the 2021 vintage of Bob's Ranch. Flavors of dark plum, black tea and toasted oak are layered on the seamless, vivid palate. Dynamic, focused and perfectly balanced with acidity, the wine builds to a long finish.

The Corners is considered to be special due to the steep hillsides, aspect, and light gravelly soils that combine to create optimal ripening conditions. This very rugged vineyard continuously produces fruit of great depth and character.

The 2020 has fresh aromas of sweet barrel smoke, blueberry preserves and the pennyroyal mint that grows wild in the vineyard. The sweet entry of the palate leads to a smooth, focused, and dense texture. A small percentage of whole cluster in the fermentation lends the rich, resinous quality of aromatic wood on the finish.
