Our estate vineyard lies on the west end of Anderson Valley, near the town of Boonville.
Planted on hillside slopes with gravelly clay soils and southern exposures
Warm Afternoon Sun
Fully ripens grapes, while cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean—only 12 miles away—extends the growing season
The Corners Pinot Noir displays warm aromatics of five spice, ripe blue fruit, and black cherry. Roasted stems bring a streamlined and focused quality to the mouthfeel. The palate is smooth with dark berry character, interlaced with warm, spicy barrel leading into a sweet, lingering finish.
In 2014, an exceptionally dry winter and warm spring led to an early bud break. The growing season ran ahead of schedule all year. The lower yields produced concentrated, complex, and age-worthy wines.
