Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast
"This is an impressive appellation blend. Earthy compost and forested tea gird a full-bodied concentrated experience highlighted in dried cranberry, raspberry and rhubarb, a leathery hint of sarsaparilla adding creaminess.

This blend is predominately from our Bob’s Ranch estate, with Gaps Crown and Calesa vineyards completing the blend featuring mostly Dijon and heritage clones. The resulting combination of diverse vineyard sites and clonal variation creates a complex wine with abundant fruit.

Wine Facts

The 2015 growing season delivered another great vintage. A mild winter with a dry, warm March caused early bud break. Colder temperatures and light rain in late spring stunted cluster development which ultimately led to smaller grape clusters and berries. Summer temperatures were mild and ripening progressed slowly and steadily with intense flavors developing early. This vintage exhibits concentrated aromatics and deep color.
