2014 WALT Shea Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
"This great Pinot Noir begins with beautiful feminine aromatics of red cherry, prune, red raspberry and guava. There are bright flavors of red raspberry, Shitake mushroom, forest floor, guava puree and pomegranate. The finish lingers, as the heat of this great vintage in Willamette shines through."

Diverse Land Contours
Diverse climates garner amazingly distinctive
Well draining volcanic and seabed soils.
Deep rose blush in color, the Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir has beautiful aromas: barrel spice, delicate strawberry, rosewater, forest floor, and earthy mushroom spill from the glass. On palate there is cinnamon and minerality. The tension and structure create a rich and creamy texture finishing with hints of anise.
Shea vineyard's sedimentary soils and unique aspect produce wines of excellent concentration and depth in one of the Pacific Coast's most premier and extreme growing regions.
|Varietal Composition||100% Pinot Noir|
|Barrel Aging||50% New French Oak (Francois Freres)|
|Vintage Notes||2014 had a very early bloom and bud break driven by drought conditions and warm weather. This allowed the fruit to ripen and harvest at the most optimal time. Very small berries (high skin to juice ratio) gave our wines a deep concentration and richness.|
