Anderson Valley Pinot Noir
Focused and elegant with luscious cherry fruit and lifting acidity
Southern exposure, cobbled clay loam soils and rock outcroppings
Due to its proximity to cool, steady winds from the Pacific Ocean
This wine is deep garnet in color with fresh aromatics of African violet, sassafras, and smoked paprika. The palate is dense and rich, with roasted stem inclusion bringing intensity and length. Concentrated flavors of baked pomegranate, wild blueberry, and allspice bring this wine to a delicious and distinctive finish.

|Vintage Notes||The 2016 harvest was early, with slightly lower than normal yield, but exceptional fruit quality. After many years of drought, we experienced winter rains that helped alleviate the dry conditions that plagued the revious four years. The entire ripening season enjoyed cooler than average days and nights. July and August were particularly temperate allowing for longer hang times, which ripened the grapes uniformly.|
