"This sleek wine shows a seamless melding of ripe, luscious fruit and just-right oak spice. It's instantly enjoyable for the casual consumer and has good balance, depth and length to please a wine geek. Full body, integrated tannins and subtle acidity provide very good structure."

Pale ruby in color, this wine has intense aromas of blueberry, lavender, plumeria, wet stone, and warming spices – paprika and nutmeg. This wine has juicy flavors of red and blue fruit balanced by mouthwatering acidity and soft, ripe tannins.

This is a very unique vineyard from Anderson Valley, featuring steep hillsides combined with light gravelly soils that create optimal ripening conditions. The Corners is typically sourced from the upper elevation blocks, where small vines and berries produce a concentrated and opulent wine.

Vintage Notes | The 2017 growing season began with significant rainfall, replenishing soils and reservoirs. A summer of gradual warmth indicated a textbook growing season until unpredictable spells of extreme heat throughout September created challenges for many vineyards. This heightened the rate of ripening and flavor development in the grapes. Cooling marine air arrived just in time to bring our vineyards to ideal harvesting conditions resulting in concentrated, rich, and dense wines. |
