2018 HALL The North End Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep garnet in color, the aromas of this wine are very pure and focused - concentrated red and black fruits, chocolate powder, and wet stone with underlying notes of barrel spice support the fruit forward nature of this wine. Powerful, yet balanced tannins are abundant on the palate and are accompanied by notes of plum and dark cherry. The mouthfeel is structured and pleasantly chewy, eventually giving way to a long and fruitful finish.

This wine highlights esteemed vineyards in the “North End” of the Napa Valley, including vines grown in Calistoga, Northern St. Helena, and the mountainous appellations. The “North End” fruit shows a markedly rich and opulent side of Cabernet Sauvignon. Our blending efforts help to punctuate these characteristics in the final bottling.

Vintage Notes | This near perfect growing season began in late February. Our Spring weather was mild, and allowed for extended flowering that produced very uniform grape clusters. Temperatures throughout Napa remained steady and warm during the majority of summer and fall, without any heat spikes, making for a long and unhurried harvest. The resulting wines are incredibly smooth and polished, with magnificent texture and color. |
