2018 WALT La Brisa Pinot Noir 1.5L
Critic Review
"Cran-cola and orange rind tones combine with shades of peat moss on this exotic nose. The palate is plush with gobs of mouth-watering acidity with the feeling of texture is really good. Layers of rich dark fruits combine with peat moss and suggestions of salted orange rind and cola tones on the palate. With exotic spices notes and a long finish, this great new Pinot Noir will cellar well for the next decade or more."

This blend is predominately from our Bob’s Ranch Estate, with Gap’s Crown and Calesa vineyards completing the blend which features both Dijon and heritage clones. Vintage Notes | Following a series of warm, early harvests, this year’s growing season returned to a slower rhythm, allowing grapes to ripen gently with deep flavors. Our growers spent the summer and fall manicuring the vine canopies to provide the grapes enough shade from the sun while also preparing adequate airflow to deter mold. When Mother Nature did throw a couple of unpredictable systems at us, we were able to weather the storms and harvest exceptional fruit! |
