Creamy and open-textured, with concentrated, well-knit flavors of raspberry, chocolate and strawberry. The plush finish offers spice and toast accents.

Cause vines to produce grapes with powerful
Delicate garnet in color. Perfumed aromas of sun warmed raspberry, ripe strawberry, chaparral and dried flowers lift from the glass. The palate is plush and beautifully fresh with a well-balanced weight to the structure. Seamlessly integrated oak barrel spice and vibrant acidity come together for a long, finessed finish.
Oak Barrel Spice
This vineyard, named for Gary Franscioni's wife Rosella, was planted in 1996 and was the first in their portfolio. Rosella's vineyard is characterized by its maritime climate with strong coastal winds coming off of the Monterey Bay. Foggy mornings and sunny, breezy afternoons keep the site cool and ideal for Pinot Noir. We work with Pisoni, 777, 667, and 828 clones at this site which bring complexity and nuance to the finished wine.
