Critic Review
"Plush and well-spiced, with buttery notes to the ripe pear and Gala apple flavors that are backed by rich acidity. Finishes with accents of nutmeg and clove."

Our 2019 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay opens with fresh aromas of white flowers, struck flint, vanilla and lemon zest. The palate is meringue-like in texture, sitting lightly in the mouth while melting in to creamy richness. The wine finishes with bright acidity, enhancing the lemon notes.

Vintage Notes | The 2019 vintage began with a wet spring bringing three inches of rain in May. In response to the late rains our vineyards received diligent attention to control vigorous vine growth. A long Indian summer followed with mild weather, allowing the fruit to ripen at slow, even place. The long picking windows bore fruit with beautiful freshness at optimal ripeness. The resulting wines are exceptionally elegant. |
