What do I do if the wine I ordered is damaged?
Despite our best efforts to secure wine shipments, wine bottles are fragile and issues arise from time to time. Contact our member services team and we will rectify the situation quickly.

Are there any restrictions?
Please note that we will happily replace any wines purchased directly from the winery, given that they are still available; however we cannot replace wines purchased from other wine retailers or restaurants. In rare instances, we reserve the right to deny our return policy to customers who we suspect are attempting to abuse the policy.

On a lush hillside of pristine native forest, high above the fog line at 2400 ft. elevation, the vineyard is a protected bowl carved into Howell Mountain. Head trained and dry farmed with roots reaching deep into volcanic Aiken loam soil, the vines are tended following organic practices with a meticulous attention to detail into almost perfect umbrellas of leafy canopy. From a site that begins the growing season on the later side, the wine is characterized by dark, dense fruit laced with an enchanting floral perfume.

Toasted Herbs

This vintage expression reveals an enchanted combination of luscious blackberries intermingled with aromatic black pepper and wild mountain bay laurel. This is a savory, plush wine with some weight, and a finish that lingers with an impression of toasted herbs. It's like walking into a secret forest glade glistening with dewy moss.

Vintage NotesThe alluring 2021 vintage is remarkable for its low yields, which resulted in an extra degree of concentration in our wines. In a second year of drought, the vines grew quickly in the warm spring weather while our team judiciously managed watering block by block. By summer, the vines had set a lighter than average crop, and cooler weather in August allowed time for vineyard passes to finetune the fruit load and manage the canopy. After a smooth harvest season, we are excited about the flavor-packed 2021's.
